What We Believe
We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, fully God and coequal with the Father and the Son. He possesses all the attributes of deity and is the divine Author of Scripture, having inspired the biblical writers to record God’s Word without error in the original manuscripts. The Holy Spirit glorifies Jesus Christ by revealing God’s truth, convicting the world concerning sin, righteousness, and judgment, and drawing sinners to faith through the proclamation of the Gospel.
At the moment of salvation, every believer is regenerated, indwelt, baptized into the body of Christ, sealed for the day of redemption, and assured of adoption as a child of God through the ministry of the Holy Spirit. He continually illuminates the Scriptures, produces spiritual fruit, equips believers with spiritual gifts, strengthens them for faithful service, and progressively conforms them to the image of Jesus Christ, all for the glory of God and the building up of His Church.
