The Purpose of Scripture
Many people approach the Bible primarily to gain knowledge, answer difficult questions, or prepare lessons. While these are worthwhile pursuits, they are not the highest purpose of biblical study. The greatest purpose of Scripture is to know the God who has graciously revealed Himself through its pages.
