What We Believe
We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, the second Person of the Trinity, fully God and fully man. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary, He took upon Himself true humanity without ceasing to be God. As the visible image of the invisible God, Jesus perfectly revealed the Father’s character, fulfilled the Scriptures, and accomplished the work of redemption that only He could accomplish.
Jesus Christ lived a sinless and perfect life, fully obeying the will of the Father in every respect. He willingly offered Himself as the once-for-all substitutionary sacrifice for sin, fully satisfying the righteous demands of God’s justice through His death on the cross. On the third day He bodily rose from the grave, triumphing over sin and death, and He ascended into heaven where He reigns as Lord over all creation, Head of the Church, and our coming King. Salvation is found in Jesus Christ alone, for He is the only mediator between God and humanity and the only name by which we must be saved.
